Turn Your Rack BOM Into a Validated Power Cabling BOM

Add your servers, switches and PDUs. RackMatch determines the correct connectors, quantities, cable lengths, A/B feeds and compatible power cords for the entire rack.

C13 or C19

Read the inlet on the installed PSU, not the chassis name. A C14 inlet takes a C13–C14 jumper: C13 into the server, C14 into a PDU C13 outlet. A C20 inlet takes a C19–C20 jumper: C19 into the server, C20 into a PDU C19 outlet.

C13 vs C14, C19 vs C20, what power cord does my server need.

Upload Spec / RFQ reads a PDF or pasted specification, matches models that already exist in this catalog, and marks everything else Needs verification. Confirmed rows can go into Build Rack BOM.

How it works

Upload Spec / RFQ → Equipment BOM → Power Requirements → Compatibility Validation → Cable BOM → Ready-to-Install Rack Kit

Example rack

6 × Dell PowerEdge R760 (2400 W PSU from the catalog), 2 × Cisco switches (model not in the catalog), 2 × APC AP8853. Six dual-PSU servers use 6 × C19 on each PDU, which matches the AP8853 catalog (6 × C19). Open the builder with that list already loaded.

What RackMatch checks

Rack cable kit

After the power cable BOM, request a quote for a complete ready-to-install set of data center power cords: lengths, A/B colours, labels and connector types.

Check one server and one PDU

Single-pair server PDU compatibility. For a full rack power cable BOM use Build Rack BOM.
