What power cord does my server need?

Do not start from the chassis model alone. Start from the PSU that is installed.

  1. Read the inlet on the PSU: C14 or C20 (or a locking variant of those).
  2. Read volts and amps on the same nameplate.
  3. Look at the PDU outlet: C13, C19, or both.
  4. Pick the jumper that joins those two faces.

On a C14 inlet, the C13 coupler goes into the server and the C14 plug goes into a C13 outlet on the PDU. On a C20 inlet, the C19 coupler goes into the server and the C20 plug goes into a C19 outlet. See C13 vs C14 and C19 vs C20.

Examples on this site: Dell PowerEdge R650 is C14 / C13–C14 in the common SKU. Dell PowerEdge R760 is C13–C14 on typical 10 A jumpers Dell sells for the chassis, and C19–C20 on the 2400 W PSU. DGX H100 is locking C19/C20, 250 VAC, 20 A, 1.2 m, six cords in the ship kit. One server plus one PDU: R650 + AP8941.

Use the matcher on the home page when you have both a server model and a PDU model from the catalog.
